Sixteen10 is proud to be the fundraising partner for the Friends of Cancer Patients charity (FoCP); a non-profit organisation which was founded in September 1999 under the directives and patronage of her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Founder and Patron of the Friends of Cancer Patients society (FOCP), International Ambassador of the World Cancer Declaration for Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), and International Ambassador for Childhood Cancer for UICC.

FoCP is wholeheartedly dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families through the journey of cancer treatment. Since their inception, FoCP has delivered moral and financial support to over 1,300 patients and their families, irrespective of their nationality, gender, age, religion or ethnicity.

Sixteen10 are committed to raising money for FoCP through auctions at gala dinners, charity balls and corporate events across the Middle East, Europe and Asia. In addition, we are committed to donating a percentage of everything we sell outside of event auctions to FoCP. With fundraising at the core of our business, we are proud to support FoCP in their goal to:

• Deliver financial support for treatments and pay expenses for investigative surgical procedures
• Offer free mammogram, biopsies, blood test and MRI scans
• Provide access to nutritionists and create awareness for the early detection of cancers

Sixteen10 is also dedicated to help other charities and corporates raise money for their chosen foundations. We can manage your event auction or provide you with our exciting and unique auction items. Due to the legal requirements surrounding fundraising in the UAE, you will need to obtain the necessary licenses from the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities. If you do not have this nor a Charity partner to raise funds for, we can help you obtain them and raise money for FoCP.
